Course Overview
This practical course introduces kids and teens (ages 10–17) to web design using easy-to-learn Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress or Wix. Students will learn how to plan, build, and customize functional websites using drag-and-drop tools — no prior coding skills needed.
What They’ll Learn
- Website Planning & Structure
Understand web pages, menus, sections, and how to organize content for a great user experience. - Working with CMS Tools (WordPress/Wix)
Learn how to use beginner-friendly website builders to create beautiful websites from templates or scratch. - Customizing Themes & Layouts
Change colors, fonts, images, and layouts to reflect personal or project themes (e.g. a blog, school site, or portfolio). - Adding Functional Pages
Create pages like Home, About Me, Gallery, Contact, and Blog — and learn how they connect. - Publishing & Sharing
Learn how to preview, save, and publish their website for others to see — plus internet safety and responsible content sharing.
